Is Pure Energy Systems (PES) changing from
Science to Mysticism and Conspiracy Theory?
By Rick Friedrich, May 23, 2009
As someone who has been following the peswiki.com and related websites for five years I am sad to see the direction change from studying science and verifying new energy technologies to that of mysticism and conspiracy theory lacking all possibility of verification. Over the last two months (April and May 2009) the sole owner and director, Sterling D. Allan, has focused all his energies on a magnet motor and wild story that was admitted to be unverifiable. Almost each day revealed a new sensational revelation on the pes websites. A series of videos were produced, which are now admitted to have been faked, that showed a simple magnet motor running. The person demonstrating the motors eventually showed his face but not his name. He went by Mylow, but nothing was known about him and there was no way for the public to confirm any of the story. Many people scrambled to replicate this motor but in the end it was shown to be a hoax. Unfortunately this person claimed to have been inspired by the late Howard Johnson even though his magnetic switching did not resemble this Mylow motor.
Several sensational stories emerged from this anonymous person on Youtube as well as from Sterling Allan as posted on PES websites urging the public to believe the testimony and build this simple system. No one was able to replicate it even though some parts of the process were confirmed in my replications. Early on in the story this "Mylow" claimed to have been visited by men in black (MIB) from the NSA to take one of his motors and then returned it the next day. This created quite a stir and drew a lot of people to the PES websites to find out what was going on. Even John Bedini was invited to speak about it on the Jeff Rense show. Other sensational happenings occurred to propel this story along, such as Mylow going across the country to visit the grave site of Howard Johnson. And then there was a picture that was circulated of someone standing next to vice president Joe Biden that was claimed to be this Mylow. Sterling then claimed that "the April 2-3 NSA visit was corroborated by N.C. Congressman Coble's secretary" but he also added that "they'll probably deny if asked". And then there was the crop circle story...
When John Bedini and myself reported our partial success and then our inability to get the motor running fully as directed in the instructions we decided to post a video of an actual Howard Johnson system that was a magnetic train and a tunnel, and that showed the actual magnetic arranged used by him. But soon after Sterling issued a slanderous statement on his website about an event that never took place (because in fact Bedini never met Johnson in person). This report smeared John Bedini's and Howard Johnson's reputation as if they were at odds with each other. At the same time the person going by Mylow continued to produce videos that were yelling at people for doubting him and not following his instructions. Yet the whole situation was just a matter of presuming upon the public's good faith and insulting them with pressures to just believe the reports as truth.
During these later points of tension several people suggested that people must believe in the motors in order for them to work at all, and that mere following instructions was not good enough. This was encouraged by Sterling and thus people called it mysticism. As if the only way to make it work was to believe it into operation. The problem with this recommendation was that Sterling himself was not even able to make it work, and to suggest this to the public amounted to setting aside the scientific method and to make a blind leap into something that was totally unverifiable and at that point contrary to experience and good reason. It is this very point that concerns us the most.
Soon reports multiplied about the videos revealing evidence of fakery. But the believers were reluctant to admit it and held their ground against all light given. A few days passed and finally an even wilder theory emerged suggesting that Mylow was forced to make the videos reveal that they were faked. This effectively turned some of the anger away from Mylow to be transformed into pity for him--truly an amazing psychological leap at the tail end of a hoax.
Shortly after the suggestion of this unbelieveable conspiracy theory Sterling latched onto it and began presenting it as truth. Details poured fourth as to why he believed it, but when asked for evidence not a single fact could be presented. At the same time he also agreed that the videos were faked.
The very next day or so a message appears on Sterling's phone which he sends out to us by email from this Mylow claiming to be "Ricky" admitting to having faked the videos but being forced to. The next day an extended video of this "Mylow" appears on Youtube of a confused confession of faking the videos. He doesn't say exactly why but mumbles on about trusting him as he has another motor he is working on that doesn't presently work. He shows the motor doing nothing significant in his hands.
During the latest events of this pathetic hoax Sterling is repeatedly asked why he still sells plans on how to make this motor work, and he responds that he has disclaimers posted about it and that it is only for clarity because the plans are already given on the websites. He is further asked what justification he has for promoting mysticism on a scientific forum and on a website where formerly the scientific method of investigation was more of a standard. Throughout the later revelations of it being a hoax and the total collapse of the story he maintained these positions as not being a problem for him. When we asked him and some associates if there was any way that the website could be changed back to more of a scientific research organization we were told that Sterling was PES and if he was not around there would be nothing left at all. What people were desiring was some kind of check in the reporting of news that prevented slanderous claims being made, especially without anyone else checking on them, not to mention checking on technological claims that were being promoted to see if there was any real facts supporting them. When addressing the slanderous statement made against Bedini, before they were partly removed, the justification was given that there was not enough time in the day to check things out more carefully.
While no valid arguments were given in support of any of the events supporting the Mylow story, one major reason was prominently presented as to why Sterling believed Mylow was forced to fake videos while scolding skeptics for not believing them. He said that because there was a giant New World Order (NWO) conspiracy to control and ruin the world as we know it, that this story would fit perfectly with that world conspiracy. While there are many world leaders using that terminology and while there are many things occurring in modern history to support the idea of a NWO conspiracy, no evidence was present to link these two happenings together. We beg to know why it would not be fair for any fraudulent person to make the same claims to justify their actions.
People also wondered when Sterling visited this Mylow and was never shown a working model why he did not question fabulous claims of this unknown person. People asked him why he never mentioned not being shown the motor and he pointed to the following page as claiming he did:
http://pesn.com/2009/04/26/9501531_Mylow_being_corralled_by_BlackOps/
Perhaps the page has changed or I may have missed where it says that he was not shown the motor. But what is true is that people assumed he was shown the motor working because when he has visited other inventors he has usually been shown such which results in him actively promoting them in a similar way as in this case. Perhaps we all just got caught up in all the many unverifiable details and failed to see some small reference to not being shown the motor. But we had to know whether he saw it or not and so we called him on the phone and asked.
It is my hope that PES would avoid making unverifiable claims, leaps in logic, and return to matters of fact. Otherwise we request that the owner clearly state his methodology to the public as reporting conspiracy theories and mysticism.
"I don't respond to the particulars because I have other things to do with my time than argue with you." Sterling, May 25, 2009.
Sterling has committed several fallacies in his attempt to believe and promote the Mylow story line as fact. Here are a few that come to mind:
Ad Hominem: means against the man.
Sterling attacked John Bedini after he posted a video showing how Howard Johnson's magnet gates really worked. He claimed in the paragraph that Mylow was more of a child-like scientist than Bedini
http://pesn.com/2009/05/16/9501541_How_Does_Mylow_Do_It/
"Is Mylow Shiloh?"
"One thing that has become clear to me as I've been covering this Mylow saga and the legend of Howard Johnson, is that Howard was very passionate about a prophecy to the effect that after he passed on, a person would come along who would be a very simple person who would carry on his work. He called him "Shiloh" and said "He will have a simple mind like a child." He would visit his gravesite, and that would be one way he would be identified. He instructed his family that this person was the one to whom his hitherto undisclosed drawings and effects should be passed on to.
"Mylow explains that he chose the pseudonym "Mylow" because that was his dog's name -- one of his favorites. I can say that from my vantage point of hearing about the prophecy and observing Mylow, that he is a spot-on match to the prophecy.
"Some years ago, Tom Bearden tried to convince HJ that John Bedini was that person. Bedini is an extremely gifted scientist, and hardly fits the "mind of a child" description. Mylow, on the other hand, fits that description to a tee.
[Further down at the end of the article is added the following]
"Errata
"On May 18, 2009, Sterling wrote:
"In an earlier draft, I stated that John Bedini showed up at Howard Johnson's place with a 34-foot trailer, but that Howard was reluctant to part with some of the hardware that he had originally intended to relay. Rick Friedrick told me that this statement is problematic in several ways. First, it portrays a strained relationship between HJ and John Bedini, when in fact they had a good relationship. Second, John did not show up with a 34-foot trailer. Third, he obtained and retains the materials under positive terms.
"I will say that my source for that account is questionable, and I may have been putting two pieces of a puzzle together that do not fit together. My apologies."
END QUOTE
This is certainly an example of attacking the person. The article presumes again that the story of Mylow is real and not manufactured. Notice even that the implication is that whoever has Howard Johnson's train and stuff should give it to Mylow simply based upon this real or imagined prophesy about Johnson. As soon as Bedini posted the video suddenly this expectation is posted in another mystical article.
Further, John is directly attacked with another falsified story about a 34 foot trailer and some reluctance on the part of Howard.
Sterling used the Ad Hominem fallacy in several ways here to further his story about Mylow and even trick the reader into thinking that Mylow ought to have in his possession something that did not belong to him. This whole slander resulted in a lot of trouble for the Bedini businesses and was directly responsible for much of the lost support of PES recently.
Appeal to Authority: This fallacy is committed when the person in question is not a legitimate authority on the subject.
Sterling uses this fallacy in several respects. He appeals to Mylow's story when there is no way to know if Mylow is telling the truth. He also appeals to his own ability to judge whether a person is sincere without anything being shown by Mylow to establish this certainty. There is no authority in these matters because there is no evidence backing up any claim. Sterling just says everything as fact and expects the reader to just believe it based on his authority.
Appeal to Belief: This is fallacious because the fact that people believe a claim does not, in general, serve as evidence that the claim is true.
Sterling says he believes in the claim given about both the Mylow motor as well as the Conspiracy theory proposed by Mylow telling him to produce fake videos. Belief does not make it true.
Appeal to Consequences of a Belief: I wish that this were true, therefore this is true. This is Wishful Thinking.
Sterling wishes for a magnet motor to be true, and he believes that the conspiracy given in this story fits with his view of the New World Order, therefore this story is true.
Appeal to Emotion: This fallacy is committed when someone manipulates peoples' emotions in order to get them to accept a claim as being true.
Mylow visits the grave of Howard Johnson, therefore he fulfills prophesy and you should believe his story. Mylow later gets sick and we are told he went to the hospital imediately after Sterling is told Sterling may be sued because of posting libelous statements against Bedini, and others are showing how Mylow faked the videos. The appeal is to pity Mylow by an unverifiable claim about him. Further emotion is enlisted when a picture is posted on the following page:
http://pesn.com/2009/04/28/9501532_Mylow_Defies_BlackOps_Posts_Videos/
of a man who was not Mylow but who merely looked like him, but the statement under the picture is: "U.S. Vice President, Joe Biden, was in Chicago yesterday. Was he the "important person" that met with Mylow?" Emotions are constantly manipulated and stirred about Mylow for no reason at all.
Appeal to Fear: This is fallacious because creating fear in people does not constitute evidence for a claim.
We are told there is a New World Order to fear and this story basically got all its attention because it was claimed this motor was stolen and suppressed by this world wide conspiracy. The whole story was about fear and Mylow's fear to show a real motor working.
Appeal to Pity: This is fallacious because pity does not serve as evidence for a claim.
This is similar to the fallacy of appealing to emotion. We were to pity Mylow because we are told he faked the videos because he was forced to. But we have nothing to pity because we have no way to know if any of the story is real.
Begging the Question: This is fallacious because simply assuming that the conclusion is true (directly or indirectly) in the premises does not constitute evidence for that conclusion.
We are simply told that the story is real because it is real. No evidence is given so it entirely begs the question. Everything about the story proved unverifiable or false yet the story is still pushed as true. What was verifiable was shown to not work (plans given) and be faked (videos of running motors). Every part of the story was a begging of the question. Each story had many elements of begging the question. No facts were actually given in support of any of the stories.
Burden of Proof: Burden of Proof is a fallacy in which the burden of proof is placed on the wrong side.
Sterling and others supporting his story would claim that they would continue to believe the story until shown otherwise. The question comes down to where the burden of proof lies. All evidence shows it is a fraud and no evidence exists to support any of the story. See the following detials at the following link:
http://truthinheart.com/EarlyOberlinCD/CD/Finney/Theology/flt.htm#N_6B_
WHERE LIES THE BURDEN OF PROOF.
1. Always on him who takes the affirmative, unless the thing affirmed is sufficiently manifest without proof.
2. The burden of proof lies with the affirmative until the evidence fairly amounts to proof in the sense of demanding belief in the absence of opposing testimony.
3. When the affirmative evidence amounts to proof in this sense, the onus is upon him who takes the negative. His business in not to prove a negative, but to counteract the proof upon the positive side of the question, to render it null, or to present so much opposing proof as will annihilate the ground of rational conviction.
4. Every kind and degree of evidence that may as well consist with the negative as with the affirmative to be proved, leaves the onus unchanged.
5. When the evidence, or argument, or an objection proves too much, as well as when it proves too little, it leaves the onus unchanged.
6. If an objection needs proof, the onus lies upon the objector.
Appeal to Ignorance: Another version occurs when a lack of evidence for side A is taken to be evidence for side B in cases in which the burden of proof actually rests on side B.
There mere mention by Sterling that Mylow's motors work is given as establishing the burden of proof when in fact the burden lies on the one making the claim now that fakery has been revealed and admitted.
Relativist Fallacy: The Relativist Fallacy is committed when a person rejects a claim by asserting that the claim might be true for them but is not for others.
This fallacy was revealed in claiming one had to believe it for it to work. Also when one can say it was true for them when others observe that it is not.
Slippery Slope:
This is fallacious because there is no reason to believe that one event must inevitably follow from another without an argument for such a claim.
Sterling claims that Mylow's motor inevitably resulted in it being confescated because of his belief in the NWO. There are faulty causal connections throughout all of his writings on this subject.
Special Pleading
Special Pleading is a fallacy in which a person applies standards, principles, rules, etc. to others while taking herself (or those she has a special interest in) to be exempt, without providing adequate justification for the exemption.
Sterling has repeatedly engaged in this fallacy. With numerous inventors he used the scientific method to evaluate their claims, but in this case he manifestly sets it aside and continually believes and promotes this hoax as truth. What is it about Mylow that demands belief? His instructions do not do what he said they would in regards to continual rotation, and he has been caught faking his videos. No evidence has been given to support any of his claims. And a new conspiracy theory was manufactured right after he was caught faking the videos, claiming he was forced to fake them. This new theory contradicted itself, the chonology of the first and later apology testimony, and the way any "men in black" suppressing technology would opperate. And why is Sterling spending so much time on this claim when he admits no evidence is given to support the claim. Why has he not given other credible claims as much focus and support? What is so special here that he must plead for it in the absence of all and against all evidence.
Straw Man
The Straw Man fallacy is committed when a person simply ignores a person's actual position and substitutes a distorted, exaggerated or misrepresented version of that position.
Sterling attempted to paint John Bedini in a distorted relationship with Howard Johnson and misrepresented the facts after John showed how Johnsons gates really were made. John never even met Johnson in person. Sterling further presented Mylow in an entirely different light than what the facts are now revealing. He still maintains his position and has not ammended any of the previous articles about the motor working, and even sells the plans. Usually one uses the straw man negatively as shown against Bedini above. But in this later case a straw man is made up to make the birds think it is a real man standing in the field--a motor is claimed to be real and a person is made out to be sincere against all reason.
Here is an example of a supporter of Sterling Allan who Sterling has made moderator over his Mylow Yahoo group (dennis_m1975 bunny60@...):

Just after this webpage was posted on overunity.com Sterling took a radical turn in the opposite direction. Below you can read what he admits about his own bias. While this all is meant to appear very earnest we fail to see him address his full methodology of what proper scientific research really should be. The fact is there is no need for him to feel bad at all if Mysticism is the true form of gaining knowledge. Such a person is never wrong about anything in their own minds. This is the attitude we have seen in Sterling over the last month or more. So remember, that Sterling's mysticism has lead him astray and not mere accidental belief in some convincing person. We were told it was prophesy, and that you had to believe it for it to work, and in the presense of a hoax it was still to believed as truth. We were given many obvious signs of manipulating stories straight from Sterling himself. All negative evidence was rejected and when given we were prevented from posting the information. He will not say sorry to us for doing this. He will not explain the full story and the full extent of his error. This partial confession will not change what he has done and what he believes. There was a time when it was understandable to wonder if this Mylow thing was real. But long after it was an obvious fake Sterling was still pushing it with all might, and driving away people from his organization. We warned him to be open to reason and avoid this before it was too late to turn back, but all we got was just insult and worse. In the end it sank him for good, beyond recovery. No half-hearted sorry's will do Sterling. The real face of disguised mysticism is out in the open for all to see. When people review these events as of late few will trust your judgment again. You guys may wish to discredit free energy systems with such sagas and people put in like this to fall, but it will not work you know. In the end the Mylow story is more than a prankster making fun, it is an attempt to attack Howard Johnson and the whole free energy commuity in general. But in the end people can see that some of us within the free energy community pointed these things out and held to the scientific method. In the end we can see who is honest and true.

What this Means for Me Personally
I realize that this admission likewise reflects negatively on me, as I'm supposed to be one who is exercising due diligence in what we put forth as worth while in our directory and news service. I realize that those who have recently defected from the New Energy Congress over this Mylow saga have been justified in doing so. I was wrong to excoriate OverUnity.com for being so brutal on Mylow. A lot of them sniffed this one correctly a long time ago, though they could have been more polite in how they voice it. My optimism and yearning for something real in this area blinded me to some of the more obvious red flags that popped up along the way. I was consumed by this saga for nearly two months, doing little else besides tracking and facilitating the promulgation of this open source project.
I guess my gullibility is part of my personality profile that allows me to play in the fringes of science where new things are apt to appear. Most people can't stand the stigma of hanging out with those who think that the next breakthrough is more likely to come from some simple garage tinkerer who doesn't know the laws of physics he's breaking, than from the halls of the ivy league institutions of science, where people don't dare defy the dogmas that have been established.
Being wrong, is part of eventually being right. And if this stigma is part of the profile, then I guess I'm willing to wear it, painful as it is.
No Longer Selling Plans
Given this latest information, I can no longer hold out hope that Mylow's system has sufficient potential merit. Hence, I will no longer be selling the plans for any of the versions he's come up with thus far. Interested parties can download them for free if they want.
While Mylow is a nice enough and sincere enough person, I no longer consider his designs to be worth pursuit, and I don't trust his enthusiasm to be worth chasing. If you want to contact him, you can do so directly. He needs to be known in the real world for what he has done here.
Letter in response to Sterling on his Mylow Yahoo group showing his apology was denied altogether by him as his treatment of John was "fairly nice" instead of a torching at the stake slanderous news report.
Link to Sterling's email posted: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/mylow_magmo/message/1968
Response posted here because I am moderated on that group and emails like this never are approved. Paragraphs starting with > are Sterling's.
Sterling,
Let's get this cleared up. Please allow me to share some thoughts on the subject below:
> John,
> You say I burned you at the stake, when from my perspective what I was saying was fairly nice.
The context of your statement was not nice, and the statement was very unfriendly. You did not bother to call John or myself to verify the information, but just published it. Secondly, what you still have left on the page is not nice either. You claimed that there was some prophesy (which we have no idea where you get this from) about HJ and some Shilow. No reference is given to where you get this and many other things. Then you claim that John is not the man HJ was looking for but Mylow was. What was that based on? Merely a visit to HJ's grave, and the fact the Mylow was ignorant? And maybe even that Mylow sounded like Shiloh? My point is why even compare John to Mylow in this respect. This was not a nice or friendly comparison, especially when John was helping out with showing the video just days before and all the other helps. Show us what was nice about what you wrote? Your disclaimer apology itself shows it was not nice.
>In looking back (right after the Shiloh message) I could see why you took it as you did, and I felt badly. No amount of apologizing seems to make the difference.
But you are not apologizing when you say it was somehow fairly nice. You cannot apologize for something fairly nice. You misreported the events and harmed both John and HJ's reputation and promoted an evil report that someone who is jealous put out. If you had just owned up to that and put out a single newswire (by itself) without trying to justify yourself, that would have been an apology. But none of this happened (because you only put it way at the bottom of the page). And in fact you left the foolish statements about Mylow being preferred to HJ over John in your article. Why would you bother to leave that in? You just took out part of the problem. It is like we just have to pull you by the teeth to get you to do anything corrective. There is no genuine apology shown yet.
> Again, I'm sorry. I did not mean it as a torching. I was just conveying info the best I knew it, and I was misinformed -- and I posted correction statements.
But you did not know it, and bothered not to confirm it when we had talked to you on the phone very easily several times, as well as exchanged emails. You cannot do science or news this way. You cannot just say you were misinformed as if that covers you. You can't publish what is not verified, especially when it may be slanderous. You admit that the source was bad, so this was not a matter of being misinformed. Andy you did not properly correct the report. You needed to do more than make it a little footnote at the end of another article. You need to do a clear newswire by itself calling it for what it is. You show reveal your methodology to the public in such a newswire.
> You're not the only one who's been torched.
> Think about how badly I've been torched here and other places. Put yourself in my shoes.
Why should John have to do that as he did not do anything to deserve being treated this way? You admit that you got what was coming because you claimed to be "biased" and over-believing, and reported things as fact that were not verified, etc. It is understandable that you would be torched for doing this. But what does this have to do with what you did to John? Why should he conceive of putting himself in your shoes when he does not do that sort of thing?
> Yes, I would prefer to never have it happen again, but it is part of the territory.
What is part of the territory? To be slandered by people you are friendly to and helping out? To have things reported when they do not bother to even ask the details? This makes no sense.
> When being a scout for new territory, there are bound to be hazards, including rough-neck fellow travelers who are not very polished and who can say some downright crude things without realizing how it will be taken by the recipient. But this was not the case. You are reporting news. You got news from a bad source, and did not bother to care about John and just reported it. If you are now calling yourself a "rough-neck" unpolished crude person, then this is new news to your listeners and the image given on PES. How can you put yourself in the news business if you admit this here about yourself. You need to take the time to learn how to report news the right way. So that you know how to avoid being crude, and so that you properly share facts to be taken the right way by recipients. This was not a minor overlooking of some detail but a fundamental problem with your methods and procedures. And you show here that it is no big deal for you. You call it all "fairly nice".
> We just have to get over it and move on, and not let it keep us from pressing forward.
What do you mean in this? Damage has been done and no proper correcting has been done as you show above. How can we or the public move on as if it was nothing, when you call it "fairly nice" treatment of John? There is no correction to your procedures evident from your words here. There is no ownership to the damages done. And in fact your not removing the entire statement about John was just an insult. Why leave up your insulting and belittling opinion when you were attempting to apologize?
> As I told Mylow so many times, we can't let the rude few keep us from doing what is right for so many others.
So are you calling yourself part of the "rude few" in this statement?
> Pull out some aloe vera for the burns, and get on with things.
> Sterling
We are getting on with many things as usual. But how are you working to correct the evils you have caused? How are you rectifying this matter and giving the world and inventors the assurance that this has been entirely corrected? You say this whole thing was "fairly nice". I fail to see an apology here but rather a justification. You can see how earnest we have all been to share and work on all these things. We are not lacking on sharing or progressing. But how can you expect John to expose himself again to you and give you anything when you deny burning him as you did? And this last email is worse than everything else done as it calls the whole thing "fairly nice" treatment of John. This sets aside all need for apology and denies the fundamental problem in your reporting and even friendships. What else can I say here? I tried to get to the bottom of things and do what I could.

----- Original Message ----- From: John To: mylow_magmo@yahoogroups.com Sent: Friday, June 05, 2009 4:23 PM Subject: [mylow_magmo] Re: Simple PMM....Does it work?Nick,
Sorry that we started off on the wrong foot. But I wish the group to understand that I'm not the person I was made out to be. News travels fast especially when it's bad, I don't wish to get into problems with Sterling burning me at the stake ever again as I only tried to help with energy technology.
If you all go back to the monopole even Sterlings graph shows exactly what I said would happen with the battery. People do not understand energy, energy just changes form from one to another it does not mean you can trade two different forms on the same input source.. Radiant energy is totally different and so is magnetic energy.
My models were small to keep it safe it was to learn what O-masless charge was. You don't need any current to charge batteries or run magnetic motors. I look back and say never again will I say anything as it goes in one ear and out the other. You must believe in yourself before you can do anything. The 21st century is cruel just like Tesla's times, I have seen no change people are just more money hungry now. I did not invent the system of money but that is what it takes to make the world go around.
When you run out of electricity because of the cost then you will remember what I just said. The monopole is the best of both worlds if you understand what you have and how to use it, it will light your house if done correct. It's the only machine that runs gives mechanical power and charges batteries at the same time, what toy have you ever had that did that? I have seen twenty foot monopoles running and that is not a toy. You can combine that with one solar panel and never worry about the front battery again did anybody try, some may have done it somewhere but they don't talk, some may have built radiant oscillators to charge batteries but they don't talk either. Some are building Radiant oscillators for lighting panels running off the monopole combined with solar. Let's all move into the dark ages and see who has light at night.
I know people here on this group who have built the SG but they still do not understand the machine and what it could do, the meters are stuck in there heads, two form's of energy two different things. The same with magnetic motors you can't look at the magnet as a static thing, it's not. The magnet has a spacial field never explained in your textbooks.
Energy is flowing around a magnet and you have nothing to measure it with unless you convert it to work with your meters, then your missing allot of energy. I just do not want to get burnt at the stake again.
